The video was absolutely beautiful, Nicole. I am so sorry Dylan isn't here with you on his first birthday... it is so hard. I remember Isaac's first birthday back in October and how it all just felt so wrong. Praying for you today, and am so thankful that because of Jesus, this is not the end... what hope!

Nicole - That video is amazing! What a special keepsake, thank you for sharing it with us. I do have to say that I think if you look at the very second ultrasound pic in the video, it looks as if Dylan is being kissed right on his forehead. How precious! And nothing was more precious than hearing your sweet little boy make such beautiful noises. What a blessing to hear his voice. And Nicole, as I look at this slideshow I get goosebumps thinking of how much love Dylan felt in his perfectly amazing seven hours of life. Thanks be to God for allowing Dylan to sense the love of his parents and so many others. Nicole, you will continue to be in my prayers. And Chad, you also will continue to be in my prayers. May God fill both of your hearts in ways you never imagined possible and grant you peace. And Lord, thank you for giving them the hope that someday they will see their son again and they can all dance with the angels in heaven together.

Beautiful baby, beautiful video to treasure. Watching this I thought of my grandma who had a baby boy that passed away and never got a chance to see him or hold him and how in this day and age we have all these amazing things like videos and pictures to treasure!!
I of course had to rewatch the video to see Dylan get kissed in the ultrasound. Unbelieveable! Simply amazing I say! OK Nicole that one is for you for the "sign" book. I think that just goes to show you that in that ultrasound he was trying to tell you that everything was going to be OK.

What a beautiful video, I am sure there were many tearfelt moments while compiling this, both of happiness and sadness. Dylan is so blessed that his parents chose the gift of life! One year ago today Dylan showed the world what a true slice of heaven was like! Thank you GOD for your awesome gifts! Of all the photos and all the video you TWO are the only ones whom look to be at peace. I mean no disrespect to the rest of your fam. and friends in the video. I know that the hours Dylan spent here were surely filled with lots of mixed emotions (by all blessed to be there). I am just saying what this small picture you shared with us how the two of you focused on the moment and the pride, love and certainty of where Dylan was going the moment he left you. I have been praying for God to do big things in your relationship with one another. I dont pretend to know His answer but a mutual friendship and a true release of all things unimportant is what im praying for. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful video. You are my inspiration. I started following your blog before I even found out I was pregnant. (I don't remember how I found it though! Maybe a friend of a friend of a friend or something? I'm not sure. Though I know now it was a God-thing.) I am currently 26 weeks pregnant with our daughter who has triploidy, a fatal condition. We've chose to carry her until the end, and reading your blog has been such a great help. Knowing that I am not the only one to have to face this, and seeing that life really does go on after is a HUGE help. I pray for you all the time, and cannot wait for the day when we will both get to hold our babies in heaven. :-)
Nicole, What an awesome keepsake for you to have. You are so forunate to have so many loving people in your life that support you and love you. Dylan will be missed so much but he has touched so many lives in such a short time and left a beautiful legacy. I will keep praying for you and thinking of you all the time.
